Governments can implement regulations that require hotels and other tourism-related businesses to comply with environmental standards and promote sustainable practices. For example, some cities and states have implemented mandatory recycling programs, green building codes, and other regulations to promote sustainability in the tourism industry. Additionally, governments can provide incentives and support for businesses that prioritize sustainability, such as tax breaks, subsidies, and grants.
I have definitely enjoyed learning more about ecotourism and the controversy that surrounds it.
