Trump’s impact on our climate in his 4 years of presidency has had such a large impact on our world that the entire health of our environment is in jeopardy. He pulled out of many agreements and regulations, and we can expect to see a worsening climate in our future. Their ignorance is dangerous when it is clear that our climate needs to see change or else, and because of their ignorance, many natural disasters have occured, such as the large fires in California. The last six years were the hottest years ever, and CO2 levels are at a record high.
I am disappointed, but I was not surprised at how our former president had treated the climate. The amount of irresponsibility from America’s leaders makes me angry, especially seeing how America is at fault at how our Earth is at the moment. Most of the damage is not irreversible, but may take decades to reverse. I can only hope that Biden will change things the most that he can and somehow make up for our past leadership.
I understand how you feel this way, but I think there is a little bias in what you are writing about the forest fires in California. In an article written by Fact Check https://www.factcheck.org/2019/11/trump-again-misunderstands-californias-wildfires/ .They give in greater detail who is to blame as far as how the forest fires were handled. I think that the overall weather that has been dry in the recent years cant all be Trumps fault during his term because as you read the article the weather conditions played a huge roll in the spread of wildfires and four years of ignoring climate agreements cant change weather that has been this way in California for many years. This was a well written article and interesting to read about, thank you!
