This article goes into detail about the meat industry and how it is severely unregulated by the government as it is constantly producing large amounts of greenhouse gasses in addition to breaking servela laws. The problem with the meat industry especially in the U.S is that it is unfair to many as it provides unequal opportunity to the smaller business and helps the larger industrialized business with things like subsidies.

 

There are many factors and layers surrounding the meat industry that it is very difficult to come up with a olution. We rely so heavily on livestock to both feed us but also for things like fuel but since the government is constantly trying to protect this area it is very difficult for advocates of environmental injustice to try to fight them. As the government continues to protect and subsidize these livestock companies it makes it very difficult for places like California to come up with a solution even though there’s a lot of social pressure and the economic loss is too great. This ultimately connects to the concept of the environment as if we don’t figure out a solution to the problem with for example cattle and their emissions than time will pass and with that will come more and more GHG in the atmosphere ultimately adding to the spread of climate change al over the world which will affects humans,animals and the world in general.

This article describes the huge controversy that surrounds the world of lab grown meat as some believe that it is the future of food while others believe that it would devastate not only the economy but the environment as well.The article goes into detail describing how cultures meat can be way more negatively impactful to the environment than that of regular meat production although it could benefit humans greatly, it begs the question on whether it is the right thing to do for the environment. There are many benefits to lab grown meat for humans as it would reduce prices and supply excess food but the cost would be the huge impact it would have especially on climate change which till this day is a huge problem people fail to recognize.

 

I believe that lab grown meat could be detrimental to the environment but this cost if lowered could outweigh the consequences due to the fact that meat production can be very long and a lot of work while lab grown meat could be modified and could be distributed a lot easier with the right technology making prices go down and the lives of many way easier especially for those that lack food.In this point in time i believe that lab grown should be further researched and we must find another way to have a sustainable food source that is both healthy for humans and the environment. The big impact this has on the environment is its effect on climate change due to the fact that climate change has been a rising issue through these past decades. It will only get worse if we misuse our resources and neglect the impact we have on the environment which in the future will be detrimental to our advancement.California needs to try to take charge and find other alternatives as it has a big impact on the environment being one of the most industrialized and populated places in the world.

This article describes the effect that burning methane has on the environment and how different agencies and groups are trying to stop and protect the environment. It also describes the different effects of biofuels that are related to the cattle and how things like their decomposition affects the different levels of GHG in the atmosphere. it describes how a lot of people don’t recognize the impact that the food source of cattle and the whole thing with meat production has a huge amount of methane production that is severe for the environment and how the government covers it up due to the necessity for the food source and rights it off as needed transportation and undermines the affects.

 

I think that meat production in general is something very controversial due to the fact that we consume large amounts of it but the fact is that the meat prosecution industry produces large amounts of carbon dioxide and methane that is not something that can be easily gotten rid of. It’s not just the cattle necessary as the dairy industry and the use of the cattles waste also have their consequences, and this is very big dilemma as we need to food as were are to rooted into the meat industry to just let it go but we also have the problem of rising climate change and the difficulty we have faced with trying to combat it .

This article explains how cows produce 20 million tons of carbon dioxide which now california has tried to fix by forcing people to reduce the amount of methane that they release by 40% which would greatly benefit the atmosphere’s quality. It also goes into detail on biofuel from the cows and the impact that it has on the environment. The biogas problem that we face in california is that it is a renewable resource provided by cattle and can be another fuel for transport but some do not take into consideration that it is also used for combustion fuel which is greatly impacting the environment and climate change till this and many believe that the bigas will use the argument that it is mainly intended to help the environment to get away from paying the credits they are forced to by california due to their methane emissions.

 

Although this article is not directly talking about meat production it still connects to the issue due to the fact that the waste from the cows is being used for things like biogas which is highly controversial due to the fact that it is intended to be used as something that helps the environment but can lead to further methane emissions if not used property. I believe that cattle production is very important as meat is one of the food that are most eaten in places like california but we have to consider that facts that it greatly impacts the environment which right now we might no see the impact it has on us but in the future are carelessness can affect us so heavily to the point where there is no fixing. The levels of methane production in California is a huge problem as it contributes again to the issue of climate change which has many effects in different places. It also connects to the idea of more renewable resources and the amount of time and resources we put into them due to the fact that they are a lot more healthy for the environment and are renewable but till this day we still lack the incentive and dedication to try and apply ourselves to more healthy way of living for the environment.

This article elaborates on the fact that meat production in california has a huge effect on the environment like Bradt company cattle ranch which is the biggest feedlot in all of california producing huge amounts of greenhouse gasses.It also compares the amount of greenhouse gasses that this feedlot produces and how california has been suffering from many things like drought and wildfire which have affected the surrounding areas heavily. People in the U.S and especially in california have been trying to get the United states to try to lower emissions from cows as they are very concerning to the environment and also bringing into attention how the U.S has been ignoring the effects that meat production has on the environment. 

 

I believe that states like California have a personal responsibility to try to advocate for better ways of protecting the environment and taking into consideration how things like the ranch described in the article have huge effects not only in california but the rest of the world and the future generations.The facts are there and some of them are that the amount of greenhouse gasses produced in ranches like this in california produce as much as 165,000 cars in the U.S which is crazy amount of GHG which ultimately has a huge impact on the environment and climate change as the mor GHG that is emitted the more rapid the effects of climate change can be felt and seen across the world.I think it is important for people in california to recognize that the food they eat can have a huge impact on not only themselves but  the environment as well and how this could affect the future generations.

This article explains how there is vary in impacts as it all depends on the amount of production but they talk about how meat production is not only damaging the environment by emitting gasses but it is also taking resources from the the environment like trees due to the fact that they need more space to continue the demand for meat.It is also take a unique point of view as it talks about the differences in level of meat consumers as some eat more or less than others and how the less you eat the better it is for the environment.

 

This article is related to environmental science due to the fact that it helps people to understand the effect that certain people have on the environment and how those different levels either does not affect or greatly affect the environment as people continually meet the supply and demand to gain as much as they can not thinking about the effect that it will have on the environment and i agree with the fact that for example vegans leave less of a footprint as they do not eat meat than people that eat meat and they are doing their part to affect the environment less while some of us are indirectly affecting it.
