This article starts off by saying that ecotourism is the fastest growing industry in the US. The article is broke up into a series of sections such as interactions with nature, where it gives examples of eco-tourism in the U.S.  like Florida’s night time horseback rides and Wild Echo Bison Reserve in Montana. The other sections involve family fun and extreme encounters, each meant to educate people about ecotourism in the United Sates.

Before reading this article I truly underestimated how much ecotourism was truly present in the United Sates. I was under the impression that there was not a good amount of tourism in America and if there was it was really on the level of Costa Rica. But after reading this article that idea was abolished and I feel as though we do provide good ecotourism such as eco-tours to the arctic of northern Alaska.
